Israelite Samaritan population survey

This is the Samaritan community's own annual census, maintained by the Israelite Samaritan Information Institute, and this record holds it as a custodian source for exactly that reason: for a community whose small size makes it the subject of very little independent demographic study, the community's own continuous internal count is the only complete count of itself that exists, a documented fact this atlas states plainly rather than assuming an outside census exists. It is authoritative for the community's own recorded population figures at the survey date, checkable against the institute's published survey, not for independent outside verification of that count, which no outside census currently provides. Use it to establish the Samaritan community's own recorded population; an independent demographic claim about the community would need an outside academic source, which does not currently exist for this population.
