Likutei Moharan, Nahman of Bratslav's collection of Hasidic teachings, part one printed in Ostrog in 1808, is the only volume of his teachings printed in his own lifetime and under his own direction. Its strength is that it is the primary founding text of Breslov Hasidism, in the rebbe's own words as he directed their publication. Its limit is that it is a foundational teaching text rather than independent scholarship, so a claim about its later reception or interpretation needs a separate scholarly source.
