The Metropolitan Museum of Art's own collection record for "Jizo, Bodhisattva of the Earth Store (Kshitigarbha)," a statue attributed to the sculptor Kaikei, Japan, Kamakura period, carved circa 1202, lacquered Japanese cypress with color, gold, cut gold and inlaid crystal eyes. The record gives the accession number 2015.300.250a, b, dimensions of 22 by 6 3/4 by 6 3/4 inches (55.9 by 17.1 by 17.1 cm), the credit line Mary Griggs Burke Collection, Gift of the Mary and Jackson Burke Foundation, 2015, and the department as Asian Art.
