Medecins Sans Frontieres' own retrospective household mortality surveys, conducted across six sections of the refugee settlements in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh covering more than 600,000 people, published 12 December 2017 as "No One Was Left: Death and Violence Against the Rohingya in Rakhine State, Myanmar." It estimates a minimum of 6,700 Rohingya killed by violence between 25 August and 24 September 2017 alone, and a total mortality of all causes over the same month ranging from roughly 9,425 to 13,759.

An established international medical humanitarian organization's own systematic household survey, the same reliability class as the retrospective survey this axis already cites for the Yazidi death toll; a minimum estimate for one month of one campaign rather than a total for the whole 2016 to 2017 crisis, which the United Nations Fact-Finding Mission's own broader report explicitly declined to state.
