This is Patrick Valenza's own account, published through his company Deviant Moon Inc, of the deck's thirty year development, from the first thirteen cards he hand painted between the ages of fifteen and eighteen to the company's founding in 2015. As the artist's own primary account it is the correct source for how he himself describes the deck's origin and his own creative history. Its limit is exactly that it is the creator's own self published account rather than an independent biography or critical assessment, so a claim needing outside verification of a specific career detail or an independent evaluation of the deck's reception needs a source outside his own company's materials.
