Principia Discordia, or How I Found Goddess and What I Did to Her When I Found Her

Principia Discordia is the founding scripture of Discordianism, written under the pen names Malaclypse the Younger, Greg Hill, and Omar Khayyam Ravenhurst, Kerry Thornley, and first circulated in the 1960s before later commercial printings including this Loompanics edition. As the movement's own text it is correctly cited here as a primary source, and it is explicitly a parody scripture, a work of satirical religious invention that its own authors never presented as a claim about the world, which is the frame this atlas cites it under. Its practical strength for citation is that the authors released it under an explicit anti-copyright Kopyleft notice, so quoting it directly carries none of the legal caution that applies to a closed, actively copyrighted modern scripture such as Eckankar's or Falun Gong's texts.
