Rasa'il al-Hikma (Epistles of Wisdom)

Rasa'il al-Hikma, the Epistles of Wisdom, is the Druze tradition's own foundational scripture, one hundred eleven epistles in six books attributed to Hamza ibn Ali ibn Ahmad, Isma'il al-Tamimi and al-Muqtana Baha' al-Din; the da'wa that produced it closed in 1043, and the atlas records no publisher or single publication year because it is a closed scriptural corpus rather than a dated modern publication. Its strength is that it is the tradition's own primary text, cited as such rather than as independent evidence. Its limit is exactly that: it is a closed religious community's own scripture, read here for what it says the tradition holds, not as an outside scholarly account of the Druze faith.
