Facts
Assessment
Reliability Tier
2
Encyclopaedia Britannica's biography of Shoghi Effendi is written and edited in house without an academic peer review process, the middle tier reflecting a professionally fact checked general reference rather than a specialist Baha'i studies source, used here as independent corroboration of the 1921 succession alongside the Baha'i community's own account above.
Notes
Used for corroboration of the 1921 death of 'Abdu'l-Baha, Shoghi Effendi's return from Oxford to Haifa to assume the guardianship, and his birth and education.
