The Society of Jesus's own account of its child protection standards. Its policies and procedures for investigating and reporting allegations of abuse or misconduct to civil authorities are accredited by Praesidium Inc, a national organization that sets and monitors child protection standards for religious institutions. In 2018 the Superior General established the Promotion of a Consistent Culture of Protection (PCCP) project to support every Jesuit province in developing robust safeguarding policies, regular training, and transparent, victim centred complaint procedures, working alongside the Vatican's own Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors.
