The World of Ted Serios: Thoughtographic Studies of an Extraordinary Mind, psychiatrist Jule Eisenbud's 1967 book from William Morrow, records over four hundred Polaroid sessions Eisenbud conducted with self proclaimed psychic Ted Serios attempting to project mental images onto film. Its strength is that it is a firsthand, detailed record by the investigator who conducted the sessions himself. Its limit is that Eisenbud was also Serios' advocate and the sessions have never been independently replicated under controls that rule out sleight of hand, a limitation skeptical sources should be checked against.
