The gods worshipped across North Arabia from at least the early first millennium BCE until late antiquity, known through Neo-Assyrian royal inscriptions, Nabataean and other regional epigraphy, and the pre-Islamic Arabian pantheon later named in Islamic sources. The pantheon includes deities of caravan trade routes, oases and tribal confederations whose cults persisted for over a thousand years before the region's Islamization.
