Witch trials gathers the inquisitors, demonologists and self-appointed witchfinders who prosecuted the early modern witch panics, the physicians and jurists who wrote against them, and the accused themselves, an enslaved woman at Salem and a servant executed at Glarus among them, so that prosecutor, skeptic and victim stand together as the one historical episode rather than being scattered across unrelated headings.
