Beasts is the catch all for a creature too large, too strange, or too symbolically loaded to sit under a narrower shape. Behemoth, the sole current entry, is the huge land beast of the Book of Job, paired there with the sea monster Leviathan as evidence of what a mortal cannot master. The label groups by scale and menace rather than by any shared ancestry.
