Korean Muism Roles

Roles within Korean Muism, the indigenous shamanic tradition of Korea, currently represented by the mudang, a ritual specialist who mediates between the human and spirit worlds. One of many tradition specific clusters within the wider religious role type. Excludes shamanic roles from other traditions, such as Siberian shamanism, which are grouped under their own tradition specific clusters rather than folded in here.
