Feature & Dramatized Films

Gathers screen works that tell a story through scripted narrative and performance rather than direct nonfiction reporting: theatrical feature films, television dramas and mini-series, docudramas built around dramatized reenactment, and animated or dramatized short films that stage a religious figure, event, scripture or community's story rather than record it as it happened. A member belongs here for its dramatized, scripted or reenacted treatment of religious subject matter, whether a big-budget studio biopic, a made-for-television film, or a historical costume drama; it is held apart from the documentaries, archival footage and educational video segments gathered separately, which record real subjects and events directly rather than dramatize them.
