Orders claiming descent from the seventeenth century Rosicrucian manifestos, whether the original German current the manifestos themselves describe or one of the later organizations founded to revive or formalize it in England and the United States. Rosicrucianism sits here as the founding current rather than only as a later order, since no single historical fraternity can be verified as its direct organizational continuation.
