Judaism

Groups the spreadevent entries documenting the Jewish diaspora's historical spread, from the Babylonian and later Roman-era dispersals through settlement across the Mediterranean, Europe and the Middle East and eventually worldwide, including the formation of distinct regional communities. Belongs here: any event marking Jewish communal settlement or migration into a new region. Does not belong here: internal legal or textual-tradition development events with no migration component; the spread events of any other tradition.
