Plant kind

This page groups plants by the broad natural kind they belong to, since traditional herbal practice often reaches beyond plants in the strict botanical sense. Wikipedia notes that "the scope of herbal medicine sometimes includes fungal and bee products, as well as minerals, shells and certain animal parts." Browsing by kind lets a visitor tell a true plant apart from a fungus or mineral grouped alongside it by tradition.
