Zoroastrian Art

Sacred artwork of the Zoroastrian tradition, chiefly modern commemorative statuary of the prophet Zarathustra and comparable devotional Zoroastrian imagery. Belongs here: a work whose subject is Zarathustra, Ahura Mazda or another figure or symbol central to Zoroastrian religious practice. Does not belong here: an ancient Persian royal or secular subject with no direct Zoroastrian religious content, and an unrelated Ancient Near Eastern deity from a neighboring Mesopotamian tradition, grouped under Ancient Near Eastern Art.
