The Sixty-Four Keys

The sixty-four Gene Keys map onto the hexagrams of the I Ching, giving each a triad of a shadow, a gift and a siddhi, a progression from a constrained, fearful expression (the shadow), through a liberated and creative one (the gift), to a transcendent one (the siddhi). The system is presented as a contemplative path of working with each key to move from shadow to gift to siddhi.

The Gene Keys were set out by Richard Rudd in his book The Gene Keys (2009), building directly on Human Design, the same sixty-four hexagram-based keys, but reframing them as a tool of inner transformation rather than a chart of energetic mechanics.
