The Juxtaposition Cross of Ideas carries the same four gates as the Left Angle Cross of Education, held here in the fixed Juxtaposition family instead. Human Design reads Gate 11, from Hexagram 11, Peace, sits in the Ajna and is read as a mind full of ideas and concepts that want to be told, though not necessarily acted on; and Gate 12, from Hexagram 12, Standstill, sits in the Throat and is read as expression that arrives only in the right mood and the right moment. Juxtaposition Crosses form their own family, belonging only to the four line one profile, and Human Design reads them as the tightest, least steerable of the three kinds.
Its design half is Gate 46 and Gate 25, both in the G, or Identity, centre, unchanged from the Cross of Education. Gate 46 is read as a love of the body and a knack for arriving in the right place at the right time; it pairs with Gate 29 in the channel of Discovery. Gate 25 is read as an innocence that places universal love above particular attachment; it pairs with Gate 51 in the channel of Initiation.
Where the Left Angle reading of these gates serves something circumstance hands back, the Juxtaposition reading holds the same untold ideas and Identity centre pair as fixed to the four line one profile rather than fated. The hexagrams are ancient; grouping them into one fixed cross is the modern system's own construction.
