Informing, the Same Confusion and Grace Handed Back by Circumstance

The Left Angle Cross of Informing carries the same pair as the Juxtaposition Cross of Oppression, Gate 47 and Gate 22. Human Design reads Gate 47, from Hexagram 47, Oppression, sitting in the Ajna, as a mind working over confusion, sometimes for a long time, until sense finally arrives of itself; and Gate 22, from Hexagram 22, Grace, sitting in the Solar Plexus, as a social grace that flows or withdraws with the emotional wave rather than on demand. It falls in the Left Angle family, which practitioners read as fated in flavour, serving something beyond the individual rather than a self chosen plan.

Its design half is Gate 12 and Gate 11, unchanged from the Cross of Oppression. Gate 12 sits in the Throat and is read as expression that arrives only in the right mood and the right moment; it pairs with Gate 22 in the channel of Openness. Gate 11 sits in the Ajna and is read as a mind full of ideas and concepts that want to be told; it pairs with Gate 56 in the channel of Curiosity.

Where the Juxtaposition reading fixes this waiting mind and conditional grace to a single profile, the Left Angle reading holds them as circumstance's own role, the same cautious voice and untold ideas beneath it either way. The same pair also underlies the Juxtaposition Cross of Grace. The numbers are inherited from the I Ching; reading them as one cross belongs to the modern reading, not the classical one.
