The Brothers of Mercy of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, also known as the Brothers of Our Lady of Mercy, are a Catholic religious institute founded in 1839 by Canon Victor Scheppers in Mechelen, Flanders, Belgium. The institute was established to provide instruction and care for prisoners and the sick, and it later expanded to other locations including Perugia and London. Pope Pius IX granted the congregation papal confirmation in 1854.
