The Kalabari Ekine Society: A Borderland of Religion and Art, Robin Horton's 1963 journal article in Africa, is Horton's own dedicated study of the Kalabari Ekine, or Sekiapu, society, the masked water spirit performance institution he wrote on as a long term member of the Ekine Society of Buguma.
