Biblical Hebrew

This page groups scripture texts by the language they were first written down in. Wikipedia notes that most sacred scriptures "were originally a part of their oral tradition, and were passed down through memorization from generation to generation until they were finally committed to writing," at which point a specific language was fixed. Browsing by language lets a visitor find every text first written in the same tongue.
