The Vision and the Voice (Liber CCCCXVIII, XXX Aerum vel Saeculi)

The Vision and the Voice records Aleister Crowley's own scrying of the thirty Aethyrs, an undertaking he began in Mexico in 1900 and completed in Algeria in late 1909 working with Victor Neuburg. The atlas states plainly what this record actually is: one man's account of his own visionary experience, not a description of the system John Dee originally received, and it is the source of most modern material on the Aethyrs precisely because it is the most extensive account, not because it is independently verified. Use it for what Crowley himself recorded about his own Aethyr workings; a claim about Dee's own separate system needs Dee's own primary manuscript record instead.
