The atlas cites it as the tradition's own account of what the deck's imagery is meant to mean, Crowley's own claim about his own system, not independent evidence that the correspondences it asserts are historically older or objectively valid. Use it for what Thelema and the Thoth deck's own tradition says its symbolism means.
