This is the sixth edition, published by Llewellyn in 1989, of the same book first published by Aries Press in 1937; this atlas holds that first edition as a separate record, and citing both together for the same claim is the same primary record counted twice, not independent corroboration. The atlas holds it as a primary historical document, the order's own direct record of what its papers contained, cited as the order's own account rather than as independent scholarly analysis of those rituals or as evidence that the rituals achieve what they claim to achieve. A claim about the order's own later history or about competing lineages descended from it needs a separate historical study.FactsCross-Tradition ConnectionsClaims Backed By This Source (1,487 claims)Comments (0)Reader Challenges (0 open reader challenges)FactsCitationAuthorWell-attestedIsrael RegardiePublisherWell-attestedLlewellynPublication YearWell-attested1989URLWell-attestedhttps://www.llewellyn.com/product.php?ean=9780738743998Source TypeWell-attestedPrimary documentAssessmentReliability TierWell-attested3Israel Regardie's own published compilation of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn's internal papers, cited as the order's own record of its rituals and teachings rather than as an outside scholarly account of them.NotesWell-attestedRegardie's published compilation of the order's own papers; the primary record for the rituals named in this corpus.Cross-Tradition ConnectionsAssociated WithIsrael, Countries Well-attested This source names Israel directly: "Israel Regardie's published compilation of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn's own internal papers, the primary documentary record of the order's actual rituals and teaching materials rather..."Source The Golden Dawn: The Original Account of the Teachings, Rites, and Ceremonies of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, 6th editionIsrael Regardietier 3Derived FromThe Golden Dawn, Sources Well-attested ConnectedThis 1989 Llewellyn printing is the sixth edition of the same book Regardie first published in four volumes through Aries Press in 1937; a later, revised and expanded edition of that same primary record, not an independently compiled account of the order's papers.Source The Golden Dawn: The Original Account of the Teachings, Rites, and Ceremonies of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, 6th editionIsrael Regardietier 3Claims Backed By This Source (1,487 claims)This source backs 1,487 claims across the atlas.
